Just off a bustling drag near Jakarta’s national monument lies the original Alila hotel. Though the property has now reached its 10-year milestone, new additions keep the space relevant and in-line with Alila’s modern, functional design ethos. Most recently, the hotel’s spa has undergone a renovation transforming an underutilized waxing parlor into a reflexology room and transforming treatment rooms into spa suites. Beauty treatments have also received an update with a fresh menu of pampering options and 100 percent natural Alila Living products. The new menu includes The Beauty of Romance package, a spa experience for lovers, newlyweds, or just two pals looking for an indulgent experience. The treatment commences in one of the newly renovated spa suites, with soothing, low lighting, natural wood accents, and dark green furnishings. A bespoke foot bath starts the treatment with fresh flowers and personally selected spa products. The gluttinous three-hour massage, scrub, and mask culminates with the pièce de résistance, an oversize tub filled with a chocolate bath and paired with a glass of Chilean red wine.

The Spa Alila is offering 20 percent off all treatments until December 2013
