Ahead of the start of a direct ferry service between Singapore and Malaysia’s Desaru Coast this Thursday, Anantara Desaru Coast Resort & Villas has rolled out new day trip activities and summer packages for visiting Singaporeans. Weekenders will get to enjoy a champagne brunch every Saturday at beachfront grill Sea.Fire.Salt., complete with bean bags and live DJs, from RM 248+ per person. Day-trippers also have access to Anantara Spa for muscle-melting massages and its signature 24-carat gold facial.
Those staying two nights or more can benefit from the Summer Pool Villa Bliss Package. Promising savings of 20 percent on stays in a villa with a private gazebo and plunge pool, this limited-time offer includes daily breakfast, a 15 percent discount on dining and spa treatments, plus select resort activities and a welcome fruit platter. Rates start from US$1,090 per night for two.
Meanwhile, families and groups of friends should opt for the Stay 3 Pay 2 Beach Residence Escape Package, which offers a complimentary night in a sprawling beach-facing residence for every two nights booked. Rates start from US$5,342 per night, based on six adults and three children (or nine adults) sharing. Guests can look forward to direct beach access, an ocean-facing private infinity pool and sundeck, plus the services of a dedicated butler.
It pays to stay longer: booking six nights guarantees two nights on the house. The deal includes all the perks of the Summer Pool Villa Bliss Package, in addition to a complimentary minibar (refilled each day) and a daily three-course lunch for six adults at all-day restaurant Turmeric.
