The UAE’s national carrier has teamed up with Armani/Casa for a collaboration that will add even more pizzazz to its premium offering, creating a “beyond Business” inflight experience designed exclusively for the airline by Giorgio Armani himself. Launching on board Etihad Airways flights in December 2022, The Constellation Collection will encompass a new range of ceramics, glassware, cutlery, and serving ware all embellished with a geometric pattern inspired by the stars, alongside premium textiles.
Tony Douglas, Etihad’s Group Chief Executive Officer, said in a statement that Armani/Casa was “the ideal brand partner to create an unparalleled level of bespoke service and refinement for our guests,” and the tie-up would deliver “an experience defined by our Emirati heritage yet shaped by a clear vision for our future.”
The new dining service features contemporary finishes, mixed materials, and multiple textures, which nod to the cultural diversity of the UAE. The color palette has been inspired by Etihad’s home emirate: dark green recalls the fronds of date palm trees, aquamarine represents the mangroves, and slate symbolizes the modernity of the Abu Dhabi skyline. In line with the airline’s commitment to sustainability, The Constellation Collection uses durable, high-quality material and innovative designs to reduced equipment weight by up to 10 percent, resulting in less fuel burn and fewer emissions.
Meanwhile, the premium textiles range includes a matching pillowcase and duvet set with Armani/Casa signature designs to elevate the business-class turndown experience. Guests on longer flights will also benefit from the airline’s new memory foam mattress, providing additional comfort to the fully-flat bed in business class.

Luxurious Armani bedding will soon feature in the business-class turndown service.
