As a growing number of countries emerge from lockdown, Bangkok-based Avani Hotels & Resorts has rolled out a collection of eGift Cards for post-pandemic vacations. Available in denominations ranging from US$50 to US$5,000 (or THB 1,500 to THB 150,000), these can be redeemed within 12 months from the date of purchase at any of Avani’s 32 properties across the globe. Travelers also have the option of using them at 43 hotels operated by sister brand Anantara.

Ideal for any occasion, whether it’s a birthday, wedding, anniversary, or college graduation, Avani’s eGift Cards are customizable as senders get to choose a background and add a personal message. Recipients only need to download it onto their phones, saving them the hassle of bringing along a physical gift card or certificate on their trip. The gift cards can be spent on overnight stays, tours and other excursions offered by Avani insiders, as well as spa treatments and dining experiences.

In Southeast Asia, gourmands can enjoy a hands-on lesson in Balinese cuisine through a daily cooking class at Avani Seminyak Bali Resort, or tuck into ocean-fresh seafood at Avani Quy Nhon Resort, which is perched beside a fishing village on Vietnam’s scenic south-central coast. Heritage buffs will want to book a stay at FCC Angkor by Avani—a conversion project that has breathed new life into Siem Reap’s historic Foreign Correspondents’ Club—or the intimately scaled Avani+ Luang Prabang Hotel, located in the UNESCO-listed Old Town of Laos’s former royal capital. Residents of Thailand seeking a relaxing getaway closer to home should bed down at the Avani+ resorts in Hua Hin and Koh Samui.

And when long-haul travel picks up again, you might want to consider planning the trip of a lifetime through southern Africa with a stop at Zambia’s Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, where Avani Victoria Falls Resort lies a mere five-minute stroll from its namesake natural wonder. Don’t miss gaining an elevated perspective on the falls through a helicopter or microlight flight over the thundering cascades.

You’ll have to act fast to take advantage of Avani’s limited-time offer: travelers who purchase an eGift Card before Jun 28, 2020 will receive a bonus credit of 30 percent of its original value. For more information, visit egiftcard.avanihotels.com.
