Bali Resorts: Ayana Completes Upgrades, Reveals New Perks

Ayana Resort and Spa has finished an upgrade of every room category, from standard rooms to ocean suites, and introduced a new set of privileges for guests on its kids-free Club Floor.

The new decor and furniture at the resort do not mean a change in the overall design theme, which remains modern Balinese. Guests will find marble floors and chic lighting complemented by traditional textiles and intricately carved furniture.

New benefits for Club-level guests come in a just-launched Club Connections Package, which includes airport transfers, in-room Internet access, and sunset cocktails at Rock Bar. Other perks include a cultural dinner and dance performance at Langit Theatre and thalassotherapy at the Aquatonic Seawater Therapy Pool.

As before, Club guests get access to the Club Lounge, with its all-day complimentary food and beverage offerings. Now however the dinner menu features different fare from a resort restaurant each night. So it might be wagyu beef tartare from Dava one night and Thai seafood soup from Padi the next.

The Club Lounge also now offers iPads for guest use. Its other benefits include private lounge check-in, unlimited use of the sauna and fitness center, and unlimited use of the tennis courts and 18-hole putting course.

The resort also broke ground recently on its Ayana Residences Bali project, an adjacent gated community with luxury apartments and villas. The first suites are expected to be completed by early next year.
