Economy-class passengers can look forward to an upgraded experience including a wider cabin seat, business-class amenity kits, complimentary Wi-Fi vouchers, and more.
Economy-class passengers aboard Indonesia’s national airline can look forward to new products including the Economy Sleeping Comfort class and Economy Premium Service class, which made its debut on the Jakarta-London-Denpasar flight on January 26.
Designed for a good night’s rest, the Economy Sleeping Comfort class offers a wider cabin seat that’s approximately the size of three standard economic seats. Other perks include cushions, special mattresses, and blankets.
Meanwhile, the Economy Premium Service class combines three standard economy seats for two passengers, effectively omitting the middle seat.
Passengers in both classes can also enjoy a business-class meal, as well as baggage allowance up to 40kg, business-class amenity kits, complimentary Wi-Fi vouchers, and priority baggage handling services.
All in all, economy-class passengers can look forward to an upgraded experience without a business-class price tag. Prices for the Sleeping Economy Comfort class starts from US$2007(Rp. 28 Million++), whereas prices for Economy Premium starts from US$1504 (IDR 21 million++).
