Since word about its temporary relocation from Copenhagen to Sydney went out in July, Michelin star restaurant Noma, under the leadership of chef René Redzepi, has had foodies all over the world waiting at the edge of their seats to make their reservation. Today, the wait is nearly over, as Noma this week announced its Sydney venue will be available for booking starting October 30 at 10:00 a.m. AEDT.
Located in the Anadara building, overlooking the Sydney Harbor, the residency will run for a total of 10 weeks in next year, from January 26 to April 2. It will be open for lunch and dinner from Tuesday through Saturday every week, with a menu priced set at US$350.
“René and the team have been busy exploring Australia and working on menu development recently; between our sommeliers and kitchen staff, ouru team has been on six research trips to Australia in the past ten months.” a statement by the restaurant says. “In that time, they’ve visited as many regions as possible, getting a good perspective on the great and diverse produce that is available in Australia.”
With the success of its pop-up venue in Tokyo earlier this year, where all 3,456 reservations sold out in one day and 60,000 more people registered on the waiting list, those thinking of booking will want to prepare for an even higher competition this time around. Bookings can be made through Noma’s Australia page on its website.
