Cathay Pacific has opened its sixth  lounge, The Bridge, at Hong Kong International Airport. The 2,567-square-meter lounge, open to first- and business-class passengers, is located on level 5 at the West Concourse, and is divided into a North Wing and a South Wing.

The Bridge has a number of facilities such as The Long Bar, which serves a wide variety of drinks, canapés, and tapas with an impressive view across the airport; The Bistro, a self-service area with Asian and international hot and cold dishes; The Bakery, where passengers can find freshly baked bread and pizza, pastries, sandwiches, homemade soups, and salads; The Shower Suites, nine spacious shower areas that feature natural Travertine stone and oak slat walls; and The IT Zone, 12 individual computer workstations.

Designed by the Foster + Partners, The Bridge has a more cozy, residential look thanks to warm colors, timber flooring, lush carpeting, and floor-to-ceiling windows that allows an abundance of natural light to filter in.

In addition to premium Cathay passengers, MPO Diamond, Silver, and Gold members, and onewold Emerald and Sapphire members are granted access to the lounge.
