Now that Thailand has waived pre-departure tests for vaccinated arrivals, removing a degree of uncertainty for overseas tourists, Chiva-Som in the seaside town of Hua Hin has rolled out several new deals valid throughout the country’s rainy season. Holidaymakers in need of a detox, stress relief, or immunity boosting can take advantage of the latest range of benefits for stays until the end of October.

Guests who choose a retreat of five nights or more will save 15 percent on their stay through the Restore and Revive promotion, while those bedding down at least seven nights will also enjoy a complimentary room upgrade. Travelers with a little less time on their hands can opt for the Season of Renewal offer, which is available for retreat programs of no less than three nights. Expect VIP benefits, including complimentary one-way fast-track airport service (available at either Suvarnabhumi or Don Mueang) and a cash voucher of THB 2,500++ (roughly US$72) per person per night to spend on additional wellness treatments and services.

A third option is the Wellness Plus special, allowing visitors to make the most of their limited time off to restore their body and mind to optimal performance. Guests staying five nights will receive the retreat inclusions of a seven-night program, and booking seven nights guarantees that you’ll have access to the treatments and experiences typically delivered during a 10-night program. The top-notch health resort is also promising all the perks of a 14-night retreat to vacationers who stay for 10 nights.

Chiva-Som recently launched four new wellness retreats to address the challenges brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic. The Immune Resilience retreat incorporates nutrient-rich cuisine, detoxifying treatments, and mindful exercise to naturally boost the body’s defenses, while Gut Health consists of a personalized meal program that places natural ingredients, probiotics, and fiber at the forefront to restore the integrity of the gut microbiome. Nature’s Embrace emphasizes the healing effects of nature, with outdoor activities to rebalance the body and mind, and Senior Wellness builds on gentle exercise, a nutritious diet, and quality sleep to increase energy levels, cognitive function, stability, and mobility.
