Luxury hotel group COMO Hotels and Resorts will be making its Australian debut in October, with the opening of COMO The Treasury in Perth, Western Australia. Designed by Singapore-based Australian architect Kerry Hill, the hotel is located at Perth’s central business district, within a restored heritage site called the Cathedral Square Development. The property comprises 48 elegant rooms and suites, each of which exudes an understated sense of luxury, with bespoke European furniture that come in a soft shade of greyish beige (matching both the carpeted floor and walls) and custom made Grand Posture kingsize beds. Ensuite bathrooms feature Travertine stone tiles and heated floors, and come with COMO’s signature aromatherapy-based COMO Shambhala toiletries. Guests at the hotel will have the option of dining at the rooftop restaurant, where they can sample fine European cuisine with the view of the Swan River, and at the more casual venue on the hotel’s ground-floor, which features modern Australian dishes.
With a warm, immaculate design and a central location, COMO The Treasury guarantees both vacationers and business travelers a splendid, comfortable stay at the heart of the city when it opens on October 15.
