Dine Among the Temples with Anantara Angkor

There’s no better way to start the day than a good breakfast, especially when the morning meal in question comes with a backdrop of ancient Khmer ruins. That, at least, is the thinking behind the new Breakfast at Angkor experience at Siem Reap’s Anantara Angkor, where US$135 gets a couple early access to the Cambodian temple complex, the services of an expert guide, and, after watching the sun rise over Angkor Wat, a butler-prepared picnic spread of fruits, pastries, and beverages at a lesser-known temple like the 10th-century Kro Van, pictured above. The only catch? That 4:00 a.m. wakeup call.
