Emirates plans to raise passenger capacity on the Dubai–Bangkok route by several hundred more seats, amid the winter peak season for tourism in Thailand. A fourth daily flight to Suvarnabhumi will take off on January 1, 2023, boosting connectivity between the two gateways and providing more options for flyers. Capitalizing on Dubai’s role as a key transit hub for holidaymakers traveling from Europe to Southeast Asia, the extra frequency will help serve the increased demand for international travel to and from Bangkok, as Thailand’s tourism sector experiences a steep revival.
The additional Emirates flight will be operated by the airline’s flagship Airbus A380. Utilizing a superjumbo with a three-class configuration, EK374 will depart Dubai at 10:35 p.m., arriving in Bangkok at 7:35 a.m. the following day. The return flight EK377, which offers two cabin classes, will then leave Bangkok at 2 a.m. and arrive in Dubai at 6 a.m. the same morning. All times are local.
With 28 weekly flights to Bangkok and 14 weekly flights to Phuket, Emirates offers travelers flexible and enhanced connections between Thailand and Dubai, as well as onward to 130 destinations across six continents. Emirates also operates a daily direct flight to Hong Kong from Bangkok.
