Etihad Airways has announced that it will boost frequencies on the Abu Dhabi–Bangkok route this northern summer season. From March 26, the airline will fly twice a day to the Thai capital, providing a total of 14 weekly nonstop services to Suvarnabhumi Airport using aircraft equipped with business and economy class. The additional frequency will make it even more convenient for people connecting to flights to and from Thailand through Etihad’s growing global network.

Arik De, the airline’s Chief Revenue Officer, said in a statement, “With our convenient morning departure from Abu Dhabi, our second Bangkok flight has optimized timings for those UAE residents wishing to have a break in Thailand. Moreover, the return departure from Bangkok allows for those Thai residents to arrive in Abu Dhabi in the morning to have a head-start in exploring what the city has to offer in terms of business and pleasure. It further reaffirms our commitment to bringing more guests to enjoy Abu Dhabi.”

The flight schedule for Etihad’s Abu Dhabi–Bangkok service, effective March 26, is as follows:

Flight No. From Dep. Time To Arr. Time Frequency
EY 402 Abu Dhabi 10:50 p.m. Bangkok 8:20 a.m. (+1) Daily
EY 403 Bangkok 8:15 p.m. Abu Dhabi 11:30 p.m. Daily

In related news, Etihad has just launched its annual Global Sale, which runs until January 17, 2023, with special fares to select destinations for travel between February 1 and October 31 this year. Travelers based in Singapore can fly to cities like Abu Dhabi, Paris, Rome, and New York with tickets starting as low as S$641 in economy class and S$2,631 in business. Economy fares to Zürich start at S$1,044 and those to London are priced from S$1,271. For those thinking of breaking up the long journey with a stay in Abu Dhabi, Etihad’s Stopover Program offers free hotel stays at select three- and four-star hotels, or discounts of up to 40 percent on premium four- and five-star hotels in the city.
