Four Seasons Resort Langkawi has launched a new package to enable guests to make the most of a trip to the gleaming beaches and ancient rain forest of the Malaysian island.

The Naturally Langkawi package offers an engaging experience to complement a stay in a Melaleuca Pavilion—the hotel’s resident naturalist will take guests on a boat safari into the Kilim Karst Geoforest Park, which had UNESCO status conferred on it in 2007. On returning to the resort, guests will be treated to a three-course dinner for two at the waterfront Ikan-Ikan restaurant.

Traditional Malay architecture dots the 48-hectare property’s beachfront gardens and lotus ponds, while the mangrove channels of the Kilim Karst Geoforest Park are just a short boat ride away. Here, guests should look out for otters, monkeys, eagles, mudskipper fish, and fiddler crabs.

The package starts from US$690 per room per night, plus a 10 percent service charge. Reservations can be made here.
