Bangkok-based travelers planning a vacation up north can take heart in the imminent reopening of Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai and Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle. Both properties have received the Amazing Thailand SHA (Safety and Health Administration) certification, which denotes compliance to strict health and safety guidelines put forward by Thailand’s public health ministry.

“As we open our doors, the health and safety of our guests, residents, and employees remains our top priority,” says Anthony Gill, who serves as general manager at the two resorts. Four Seasons is in the process of rolling out Lead With Care, the hospitality brand’s enhanced global health and safety program, across its properties worldwide. “Our goal is to instill the same level of trust and confidence as ever before,” adds Gill. Lead With Care will put equal weight on safety and personalized service to ensure that the Four Seasons experience feels the same even with Covid-19 prevention measures in place. Face-to-face interactions may be limited for now, but guests can still remain connected to staff members by downloading Four Seasons App and Chat onto their own devices from Google Play or the Apple App Store.

While the brand’s tented property in the Golden Triangle offers experiences such as fishing with bamboo traps, countryside bike tours, and wilderness walks with rescued Asian elephants, Four Seasons Chiang Mai is just as tempting. Its Wara Cheewa Spa was recently spruced up, and patrons will get to enjoy two treatments from the new spa menu for the price of one. Sunday brunch is set to return to barbecue restaurant North by Four Seasons from August 9, when a pass-around assortment of appetizers will put the spotlight on locally sourced ingredients, before diners tuck into a main course of premium meats grilled over an open flame.

Domestic travelers can get more bang out of their buck by booking a stay through the Restart Your Time with Four Seasons offer. Valid until September 30, 2020, the package gives those bedding down at least two nights a discount on room rates, along with daily à la carte breakfast for two, guaranteed early check in from 9 a.m. and late checkout until 5 p.m., plus 30 percent off food, drinks, and spa treatments. Aside from daily breakfast and savings on accommodation, the deal at Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle includes an interaction with elephants and one complimentary hour-long spa treatment, both for two.
