With an opening date scheduled just two weeks into 2016, Amari Havodda Maldives is looking set to treat its first guests to a fresh new start. Designed by Singapore-based Isabelle Miaja, the 120-villa resort located south of the archipelago is offering not just breathtaking views of the calm Maldivian waters, but an environmentally-friendly stay for discerning jetsetters, with villas, both on land and over the water, built using pre-cast spun piles rather than standard footing foundations to reduce its impact on the surrounding marine life. As part of its opening celebrations, the resort is offering an attractive 40 percent discount for stays between January 15 to April 30. The offer applies to all room types on full board rates for bookings made before January 31.
