The limited-time offer is open only to Thailand residents staying at the urban resort this October.
Now that domestic travel restrictions have been lifted in Thailand, city-dwellers in Bangkok considering a holiday in Chiang Mai to enjoy the fresh air this “green season” have even more reason to go. Guests bedding down at the riverside Anantara Chiang Mai in the coming weeks will receive an additional night on the house as the property celebrates the city’s reopening to visitors from other parts of the country. The one-off promotion is available to all those who book a stay anytime between October 1–31, 2021 under the Thailand Residents Rate offer.
With this limited-time special, travelers can spend an extra day exploring Chiang Mai and its surrounding countryside, whose rice paddies are arguably at their most striking this time of year. There’s also a new experience for guests at the resort’s spy-themed restaurant The Service 1921. Housed inside a two-story heritage structure built a century ago as Chiang Mai’s British consulate, the venue has recently introduced a cannabis-infused menu to explore the dietary benefits of the marijuana plant (parts of which have been decriminalized by the Thai government).
Deluxe rooms at Anantara Chiang Mai start from THB 4,500++ for both Thai citizens and expats, with daily breakfast included. Rates are subject to a 10 percent service charge, a seven percent government tax, and a provincial tax of one percent.
