Six months before the debut of its first-ever hotel in Japan, Thailand’s homegrown Centara Hotels & Resorts has announced an opening special for Osaka-bound travelers. Guests checked into the soon-to-open Centara Grand Hotel Osaka will receive 25 percent off standard rates, on top of a complimentary room upgrade to the next category and late checkout until 2 p.m. Members of loyalty program Centara The 1 can look forward to an extra 10 discount; those booked into a Club Room will also get one free minibar set of soft drinks and beer per stay.
A pair of dining privileges are also part of the deal. Ordering two or more set menus at Suan Bua Thai restaurant or the seafood-focused Embassy of Crab will get you one bottle of wine on the house, and a buy one, get one free promotion applies to drinks at the property’s trio of bars: Whiskey Nova on the 32nd floor as well as rooftop venues Crudo Deck and Smoke & Spin. In addition, every room booked will be matched with a Centara-branded souvenir to take home. This offer runs until June 30, 2023 and is valid for stays from July 1–December 21, 2023.
Opening in July 2023, the 515-room Centara Grand Hotel Osaka is housed in a newly built 33-story tower on the doorstep of Namba, the city’s main shopping and entertainment district. Rooms and suites will feature floor-to-ceiling windows and modern amenities, while recreational facilities include Spa Cenvaree and a fitness center.
