Following the opening of Fairmont’s first Indonesian property in Bali last year, the Canada-based luxury hotel operator has unveiled its second property on the archipelago, this time in Jakarta, on January 21. Located in the center of Senayan Square, a busy hub in the city that combines high-end shopping, entertainment, offices, and apartments, the Fairmont is a conveniently-located chic city-stay. The hotel has 380 spacious guest rooms and suites under its roof—including the exclusive Fairmont Gold experience which employs the hotel to cater to your every whim—as well as 108 home-like Sky Suites for extended-stay guests. Designed by Tokyo-based Kajima Corporation, the overall aesthetic is one of urban, understated elegance complemented by luxurious Japanese-spa inspired bathrooms.
Five restaurants and lounges can be found on the property, offering everything from sit-down dining to deli take-aways and from stylish sky-high cocktails (the bar is on the 22nd floor) to elegant afternoon teas. Other amenities include a gym and pool, meeting facilities, a ballroom, and for spa lovers, Fairmont’s signature spa brand Willow Stream. Fairmont is offering an introductory offer of 25 percent off best available rates for stays from January 21−April 30.
