On October 25, Hyatt’s boutique hotel brand Joie de Vivre made its Asia debut as the new Bei Zhaolong Hotel—a rebirth of the former Zhaolong Hotel, which opened on the exact same date in 1985.
Located in the popular shopping district of Sanlitun in Beijing, the 202-key property is strategically located amid vibrant nightlife and lifestyle destinations, including shopping center Taikoo Li Sanlitun.
Smart technology and pop art elements take center stage at the hotel, which features rooms and suites with an elegant touch. Each room comes with a 55-inch smart television, amenities like a Nespresso machine and a De’Longhi kettle for guests to brew coffee and tea.
In the spirit of eco-friendliness, the hotel offers sustainable electric car service and a QR-code-enabled express checkout. Designed for both business and pleasure, facilities here include a 240-square-meter ballroom and a multipurpose room called the White Box, which can accommodate up to 120 people. There’s also an all-day dining concept called Bei Commune, as well as a grab-and-go counter.
