Spa-goers and fitness aficionados checking in to Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River now have even more reason to set aside some me-time during their stay. Centered on a palm-studded courtyard, the all-new Urban Wellness Centre features nine treatment rooms, including an opulent spa suite with its own private bath and indoor garden, a spacious consultation area with a boutique, and relaxation lounges. Guests will also find a Jean-Michel Gathy–designed gym and yoga studios, alongside a 35-meter lap pool and competition-size Muay Thai ring.

The diverse array of therapies at Four Seasons Bangkok can help reduce anxiety and insomnia or speed up recovery when it comes to sports injuries and skin complaints. The spa’s signature Thai Touch experiences connect guests to elements of local culture, and body treatments harness a range of high-performance products from around the world. Hungarian luxury skincare brand Omorovicza brings the healing properties of Budapest’s thermal waters to Bangkok, while Sudtana, which supports small farms and communities across Thailand, uses organic formulations handed down for generations within a family of village shamans from the south.

Other wellness practices are on the menu, too: think guided meditations, reiki, pranic healing, Ayurveda, and acupuncture with visiting masters. Guests will have the chance to wind down in a Vitality Space, whose facilities include a steam room, a heated vitality pool featuring air and water jets, and a relaxation room with curtained daybeds. Attached to the spa is the in-house Gentleman’s Tonic barber shop, as well as A Sense of Beauty, a Salon by Sacha — where stylists take care of hair, nails, and makeup, allowing visitors to look their best while on holiday or ahead of an important event.
