Bangkokians have until March 3 to get a taste of fine cocktails from five other Asian cities, all under one roof.
Cocktail connoisseurs in the Thai capital can now sample signature tipples from several Four Seasons hotel bars that were voted onto the prestigious Asia’s 50 Best Bars list. Comprising six cocktails that each celebrate a particular destination in the region, Poured by Four Seasons is a limited-time drinks menu being offered to patrons at BKK Social Club, the grand Buenos Aires–inspired drinking den at Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River.
Caprice Bar at Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong, which is currently ranked no. 10, has contributed the Da Hong Pao Sour — an east-meets-west cocktail that combines the ubiquitous oolong tea found in Hong Kong teahouses with an eco-friendly French vodka. Named the 12th best bar in Asia (and the best in Malaysia for 2021), Bar Trigona at Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur is presenting the buzz-worthy Trigona Old Fashioned, laced with sweet-sour trigona honey sourced in small batches from an organic farm in the state of Negeri Sembilan. The venue’s focus on creative sustainability has earned it the 52nd spot on The World’s 50 Best Bars list.
Charles H., the destination bar at Four Seasons Hotel Seoul, came in at no. 13 for the Asian rankings and was named best bar in Korea. Its head bartender Keith Motsi has reimagined a classic English tea flavor through his Earl Grey Gimlette, adding unconventional elements in the form of a milk pearl, Solomon’s Cordial, and cacao. Charles H. is currently no. 42 in the listings for the top bars on the planet.
The remainder of special cocktails are drawn from Four Seasons outposts in Tokyo and Singapore, alongside a creation by Four Seasons Bangkok’s own beverage manager Philip Bischoff, who steered BKK Social Club to 90th place on The World’s 50 Best Bars 2021 list after only 42 nights in operation. The Poured by Four Seasons menu will be available in Bangkok until March 3, 2022.
