Japan is slated to welcome the country’s tallest Ferris wheel this summer in Osaka’s Expo 70 Commemorative Park, the latest addition to the park. At 123 meters, the new Redhorse Osaka Wheel will feature 72 transparent passenger cabins including two VIP cabins that are equipped with more luxurious lighting and seating. The new attraction surpasses Japan’s current tallest Ferris Wheel of 117 meters at Tokyo’s Kasai Rinkai Park and will take a good 18 minutes to complete one full rotation of the wheel. It is also among the tallest Ferris Wheels in the world along the likes of High Roller in Las Vegas, the Singapore Flyer, Star of Nanchang in China and the London Eye.
The ticket prices to Osaka's new ride have not been announced yet.
