Jumeirah Group, the global luxury hotel company that manages the ultra luxurious Burj-Al Arab in Dubai, has launched an all-new mobile platform to help make the booking process easier for guests on their mobile or tablet device. The new mobile platform allows users to conveniently make their bookings through a three-step booking flow that can load under three minutes on 3G connections.  The group claims a focus on mobile have been a worthwhile investment, with half of the visits accumulated on its website being made on phones or tablets.

“Our guests are accessing the internet in a much wider range of ways than before,” said Ross McAuley, group vice president of brand, digital and loyalty.  “Tablets, laptops, gaming devices, watches and mobile devices are becoming increasingly popular as a way for visitors to find our brand online. That’s why it is extremely important for an innovative company such as Jumeirah to stay ahead of the game, continuously enhance its web offering and remain a true industry leader.”
