Families planning a desert adventure later in the year can now look forward to incredible savings on Etihad Airways flights to Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Up to two children will travel free with every adult ticket booked before January 28 for travel until September 30, 2021; fares in economy class to the UAE start from just US$407, and the deal is valid for kids up to 11 years old.

Etihad currently requires all passengers to show a negative PCR test result before departure and upon arrival in Abu Dhabi. For greater peace of mind, customers flying in all cabin classes will also receive complimentary Covid-19 insurance through March.

Activities in and around Abu Dhabi include sunset camel rides and sand boarding in the desert, jet-skiing, and kayaking through protected mangroves. The UAE capital is also home to theme parks such as Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi and Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, while those in search of cultural pursuits should make a beeline for The Louvre Abu Dhabi and Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.
