Kuala Lumpur to Welcome Babe by Michelin-starred Jeff Ramsey

Michelin-starred Jeff Ramsey is set to take Kuala Lumpur’s culinary scene to a whole new level with the opening of his restaurant, Babe, in November, Malaysia’s first dining venue by a Michelin star chef. Ramsay, who received his first Michelin star while working at Mandarin Oriental Tokyo’s Tapas Molecular Bar, will be introducing a “fun dining” restaurant showcasing his unique Japanese-accented tapas.  The menu, comprising over 60 dishes, are categorized into Cold, Not Cold, Crispy, and Sweet Endings,  and include 1,000-year-old cypress smoked aji nagiri, world’s juiciest lambchop, and charcoal-grilled Alaskan crab. Drinks will feature a creative twist on classics such as  Ice Breaker Martini, which has a layer of ice to be broken as well as local favorite Hot & Iced Teh Tarik. The restaurant will occupy the pool deck of BE Urban at Work@Clearwater in Damansara Heights, providing diners a sweeping view of the city skyline and the Petronas twin towers.
