The lobby of Le Méridien Bali Jimbaran has received a vibrant makeover. Running until May 11, a makeshift art gallery occupies the hotel’s main hub, showcasing the recently launched collections of The Art Auxion, a Bali-based collective of emerging artists and art collectors. Founded by Dutch artist Irene Hoff and Spanish artist Mersuka Dopazo, the collective aims to expose art from Bali, Indonesia, and the world beyond. Selected works by Yoesoef Olla, Rhandy Boegist, I Made Arya Palguna, and other Indonesian artists will be on display and available for purchase, so not only will guests have a colorful setting while in Bali, but they’ll also have the opportunity to take some of the color home too.
