Hotel Café Royal is now paying homage to the late, great rock icon with the debut of its first-floor bar Ziggy’s .
Long a favored meeting place for celebrities and pioneering London creatives, Café Royal on Regent Street famously hosted the 1973 retirement party for David Bowie’s definitive alter ego Ziggy Stardust.
Four and a half decades on, Hotel Café Royal is now paying homage to the late, great rock icon with the debut of its first-floor bar Ziggy’s .
The new venue is a throwback to the ’70s, with Bowie portraits by celebrated photographer Mick Rock and creative cocktails named after lyrics from his breakthrough album The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars.
Don’t miss the Femme Fatale, which plays up Bowie’s love of martinis, and the spicy orange- and agave-infused concoction Animal Grace.
