Longtail Hosts Chef Will Meyrick

April is an exciting month for Singapore’s gourmands. It’s during this month that the Lion City hosts the annual World Gourmet Summit during which stars of the culinary world lend their hands to special epicurean experiences across the city. Among the restaurants to partake in this year’s festivities, the bay-front Longtail Asian Brasserie and Bar will open its kitchen to chef Will Meyrick, the acclaimed street-food chef behind Bali’s beloved and award-winning restaurants Sarong and Mama San. From April 15−18, Longtail will dish out chef Meyrick’s Southeast-Asian cuisine, offering a tastes of Mama San dishes for lunch and Sarong dishes for dinner. Also not-to-be-missed: a hands-on workshop on Scottish seafood led by Meyrick on April 16 at the At-Sunrice GlobalChef Academy.
