Lufthansa Airlines: Taking it Lying Down

The new business-class seat and cabin design for Lufthansa’s Boeing 747-8 fleet might just give passengers of the German airline something to e-mail home about. Angled toward each other in a V-shape configuration for increased privacy, the elegant seats convert to 1.98-meter fully flat beds at the push of a button. Each seat  pair is cocooned within a wavelike silver shell, lined with hazel-toned synthetic leather for a homier feel. A new inflight entertainment system featuring 15-inch TV screens and Sennheiser headphones completes the picture (lufthanasa.com).
