Hair is undoubtedly an important aspect of someone’s physical appearance, and when hair problems arise, the impact it has on an individual is oftentimes more than skin deep. One person who can vouch for that is Philip Kingsley trichologist Lisa Caddy, an expert on hair and scalp health who will host a series of one-on-one consultations and workshops at Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong from May 26−29.
Having gone through her own experience of hair loss, Lisa Caddy understands the psychological impact that hair problems can have on an individual. Certified by The Institute of Trichologists in London, Lisa Caddy will be available at The Mandarin Salon for 60-minute private consultations for men or women (US$348), during which guests will receive a thorough and detailed examination of their hair and scalp, incorporating factors such as general health, family history, nutrition, lifestyle, and medication.
Throughout her four-day visit, Lisa Caddy will also hold a series of workshops to promote hair and scalp heath: Nutrition and Hair, Lifestyle and Hair, and Happy Hair Hour. Guests can supplement their consultation or workshop with a 60-minute professional-grade treatment (US$39) normally available at the Philip Kingsley’s London and New York clinics, but now available at The Mandarin Salon as well. Outside of the week of events, this treatment alone can be booked for US$116.
“Philip Kingsley is an internationally acknowledged authority in hair and scalp health,” says Andrea Clark, The Mandarin Salon’s artistic director. “We are delighted to welcome Ms. Lisa Caddy, an integral member of the brand, to consult with our guests at The Mandarin Salon.”
