The new offers have been rolled out in tandem with the reopening of Qatar’s borders to leisure travelers.

With Qatar now open for tourism to fully vaccinated tourists from around the world, Discover Qatar, the destination management division of Qatar Airways, has partnered with Qatar Airways Holidays to launch special packages to welcome those visiting friends and family in Doha.

As part of the conditions of entry, Qatar has mandated that all tourist arrivals must have a confirmed hotel reservation. To help meet this requirement, Discover Qatar and Qatar Airways Holidays are offering exclusive deals with significant savings on a range of high-end hotels.

The Family and Friends packages start at QAR 1,721 (roughly US$473) per person and are available for a five, seven, or a 10-night stay at luxury hotels such as the Hilton Doha, Hilton Salwa Beach Resort, the Ritz-Carton Doha, Mondrian Doha, the Westin Doha Hotel & Spa, and Al Messila Resort.

Each package includes complimentary daily breakfast, a 20 percent discount on food and beverages at the hotel, and airport transfers. A four-hour Discover Doha city tour, as well as a desert excursion to the scenic Inland Sea, are also part of the deal. Children under the age of 12 accompanying their families can stay for free. Customers are also able to add exclusive meet and assist offers to their package, to ensure their arrival experience at Hamad International Airport is as comfortable and seamless as possible.

As for Discover Qatar’s city tours and excursions, customers can now book a tour for two people for the price of one, with half-price deals on immersive explorations of Qatari culture, the country’s protected mangroves, Gulf cuisine, and more. Alongside these packages, visitors will also get to enjoy either of these excursions for three people for the price of two: Discover Luxury Shopping and Discover the Icons of Qatar.
