A five-star beach break on Vietnam’s largest island awaits at Regent Phu Quoc, where travelers can enjoy more benefits this August and September through the “Escape Life’s Gravity” package. Guests will get to choose either a 90-minute signature treatment at The Spa; a four-course lunch at beachfront venue Ocean Club, including two specialty drinks per person; or a set dinner at all-day restaurant Rice Market with five sharing dishes, as well as free draft beer and soft drinks.
These come on top of guaranteed perks like return transfers from the airport, daily breakfast, plus a complimentary in-room minibar with gourmet snacks and drinks (including alcoholic ones) replenished on a daily basis. Those bedding down at Regent Phu Quoc are also entitled to free laundry and pressing for three items per room each day. The “Escape Life’s Gravity” special applies for stays between August 1 and September 30, 2022, except from September 2–3, a period that overlaps with Vietnam’s National Day celebrations.
Holidaymakers arriving next week have the chance to sample five Mediterranean dishes from a curated menu at Ocean Club highlighting Périgord black truffles cultivated in Manjimup, Western Australia, where the harvesting season runs from June to August. Available only from August 4–7, the gourmet dining experience showcases the prized fungi presented in different ways: shaved atop egg ravioli, turned into a sauce for pigeon foie gras Wellington, and mixed with honey to be drizzled over fresh burrata and ibérico ham. Wine pairings are also included; reservations can be made by emailing regent.phuquoc@ihg.com.
