Cruise aficionados seeking out a post-pandemic trip of a lifetime may want to consider Navigate The World, Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ new round-the-world itinerary that will last 132 nights. Departing from Miami on January 6, 2024, passengers will cross the Atlantic via Bermuda and the Azores, traversing the Mediterranean and the Suez Canal to Oman and the UAE, before continuing to the west coast of India. Stops in Southeast Asia include Yangon, Phuket, Penang, Bali, and Komodo National Park; travelers will also explore Australia and New Zealand, French Polynesia, Hawaii, and Mexico’s Pacific coast. The final leg involves crossing the Panama Canal to the fabled Colombian port of Cartagena and then Key West, ahead of the final disembarkation in Miami.

Navigate The World, which goes on sale on July 15, 2021, covers 34,500 nautical miles and nearly five months’ accommodation aboard the all-suite Seven Seas Mariner. This journey encompasses a whopping 442 complimentary shore excursions, 66 ports in 31 countries across four continents, 12 in-port overnight stays, and no less than 61 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, the most Regent has ever visited on a World Cruise.

UNESCO World Heritage Sites on the itinerary include the ancient rock-cut city of Petra in Jordan.

In addition to a pre-cruise gala in Miami, guests will have the chance to enjoy exclusive small-group tours in the Botanic Gardens in Wellington, New Zealand; a bazaar-style experience in Mumbai capped off with a dinner and cultural show; and learn about life in the Andalusian countryside with a visit to a working ranch outside Málaga. For an additional cost, travelers can also experience 18 optional overland programs, 11 of which are brand-new, taking in sights that range the Taj Mahal to the historic cities of Spain’s interior and Egypt’s Valley of the Kings.

Those embarking on the trip will receive free US$550 shipboard credit per person; unlimited valet laundry, dry-cleaning, and pressing; complimentary phone time per suite and onboard medical service; as well as a farewell gift. Also included in the cruise fare are meals in specialty restaurants, premium drinks at the onboard lounges, unlimited internet access, and a comprehensive visa package. Fares for Regent’s 2024 World Cruise start at US$72,599 per guest for a Deluxe Veranda suite.
