Singapore Airlines is extending PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite statuses for a third year running, rolling over Elite miles, pausing the expiration of miles in 2022, and introducing new program benefits that further reward its members.

All PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite statuses that are due to expire between March 2022 and February 2023 will be automatically extended for another year, following a similar extension granted annually since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic. Elite miles earned by KrisFlyer Elite members in the 12 months prior to the latest extension will be credited back into their accounts, while Elite miles earned during the previous membership qualification cycle will also count toward their requalification in the March 2023 to February 2024 cycle.

KrisFlyer miles that expire in 2022 will be automatically extended by six months at a time. For instance, KrisFlyer miles set to expire in January 2022 will be valid through July. Should they remain unused by the end of that month, they will be extended further to January 2023. Similarly, rewards earned from PPS Rewards and KrisFlyer Milestone Rewards due to expire this year will be extended to December 31, 2022.

SIA is also bringing in enhanced benefits for Scoot customers. From February 2022, PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite tier members can enjoy priority boarding, complimentary standard seat selection, an extra five kilograms of check-in baggage with any baggage purchase, as well as 25 percent more KrisFlyer miles for every mile earned when traveling on Scoot flights. In addition, KrisFlyer members can earn 2.5 Elite miles for every KrisFlyer mile earned from flying on Scoot, up from one Elite mile for every KrisFlyer mile. SIA has also launched two new KrisFlyer Milestone Rewards, which can be enjoyed by members who have earned 1,000 and 2,500 Elite miles.

JoAnn Tan, Singapore Airlines’ Senior Vice President for Marketing and Planning, said in a statement, “We are very grateful to our PPS Club and KrisFlyer members for their continued loyalty. Extending the membership statuses, as well as continual enhancement of the KrisFlyer program, provides our members with more recognition and program benefits. It also offers further opportunities to earn and redeem their miles with both Singapore Airlines and Scoot.”
