Customers who choose to retain their tickets as flight credits will be awarded bonus flight credits.
In light of the ongoing COVID-19 situation, Singapore’s flag carrier will fly to only 15 destinations in May, with its existing flight cancellations extended until the end of that month. The airline’s website also stated: “Please note that all other flights that had been scheduled for May 2020 will be canceled.”
Subjected to regulatory approval, the airline will fly to the following destinations. The full list of flight dates can be viewed here.
Asia: Bangkok, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Chongqing, Seoul, Shanghai, and Tokyo (Narita)
United States: Los Angeles
Europe: London, Frankfurt, and Zurich
Meanwhile, travelers whose flights were canceled “will retain the full value of the unused portion of their tickets as flight credits.” These credits can be used to book new flights until 30 June 2021.
When rebooking their flights, customers who choose to retain their tickets as flight credits will also be awarded bonus flight credits, which will be based on the cabin class that they were originally booked in.
