Singapore Airlines Announces Partnership with COMO Shambhala to Offer Wellness Cuisine

With wellness being a pivotal consideration among travelers these days, airlines are paying closer attention to how it can help make their journey even more enjoyable.

In light of this, Singapore Airlines (SIA) has announced a partnership with COMO Shambhala, the wellness arm of the COMO Group. The signing of an MOU (memorandum of understanding) between the two marks the beginning of a wide-ranging partnership aimed at enhancing traveler experience.

Known for their wellness and spa focused resorts around the world, COMO Group consists of properties such as COMO Point Yamu in Phuket, COMO Uma Punakha in Bhutan, COMO Parrot Cay in the Turks, and more.

By the second half of this year, travelers can expect to enjoy COMO Shambhala’s wellness-centric cuisine on selected SIA flights. The healthy yet flavorful dishes will be crafted with seasonable and sustainable ingredients, each with their own nutrition profile.

These dishes will also be progressively made available in SIA’s Book the Cook service. Eventually, a new wellness menu featuring specially curated dishes by COMO, will be introduced across all classes.

While unconfirmed at the moment, future collaborations between the two may extend to onboard amenity kits, as well as in-flight entertainment content on wellness.
