The flights will be operated by its 253-seat Airbus A350-900, which seats 42 in business class, 24 in premium economy seats, as well as 187 in the economy cabin.
Departing flights from Singapore are scheduled on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 11.55 p.m., subject to regulatory approval, while return flights from Brussels will leave on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 11.20 a.m. Belgian time.
This Singapore-Brussels service is, in fact, the resumption of a route, which was served by the airline since 1979 and was cut in April 2003 during the city-state’s SARS ( severe acute respiratory syndrome) outbreak.
