Riding on the success of its inaugural program in 2015, Singapore Cocktail Week is back even bigger and busier this year, with more events slotted to take place from March 12 to 19. The festivities will have over 60 participating bars and restaurants (double the number of participants last year) play host to programs such as bar tours, supper clubs, brunches, and pop-up parties, all with the help of a cast of international guest bartenders who will be bringing their own expertise to the table.
At Jigger & Pony, for example, a workshop will see guests learning how to craft 50 cocktails using eight essential spirits and liquors, while Tess Bar & Kitchen will be serving delicious drinks inspired by local delicacies. A special cocktail-tasting event will also take place at dine-in-the-dark restaurant Nox, and over the weekend, diners at contemporary Chinese restaurant, Mitzo, will get to enjoy a cocktail-cum-dim sum brunch, with tea-infused cocktails on the menu.
To participate, simply purchase a set of wristbands valid for each day for US$ 27. While some programs are open for public, wristband holders will have access to all parties and pop-up events held throughout the week, along with a 10 percent discount on workshops, brunches, supper clubs, and signature cocktails at participating establishments.
