Singapore: Delicious Food Deliveries to Tide You Through COVID-19

From Peranakan feasts to local hawker favorites, these restaurants offer food deliveries for those staying in during the coronavirus pandemic.

Singapore’s reputation as a foodie’s paradise rings true even during the coronavirus pandemic. While the government has laid down ground rules for social distancing—mandating that people must stay one meter apart in public spaces and with gatherings limited to groups of less than 10, restaurants have chosen to focus instead on deliveries and takeaways, so locals can continue to enjoy great food in their homes.

The Cicheti Group

Fancy some homemade pasta paired with a bottle of biodynamic wine this evening? Consider your dinner plans settled with The Cicheti Group, which now offers pre-order takeout menus available on their websites, for all three of their dining concepts. At Bar Cicheti, diners can order the fresh pasta DIY kit (complete with sauces and instructions) that will only require some basic cooking and light assembly. Meanwhile, Cafe Cicheti lets one build their own four-course Italian feast, from antipasti like the colorful panzanella (Tuscan-style chopped salad of soaked stale bread, onions, and tomatoes) to hearty mains like Ibérico pork. Alternatively, there’s also chef Aun’s wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas, which are great for sharing.

Cicheti and Caffe Cicheti will be available on Deliveroo, GrabFood, and FoodPanda, while only Bar Cicheti will be available on Deliveroo. All three Cicheti concepts will offer a takeout menu with pre-orders available online.
