French luxury hotel brand Sofitel will be taking its appreciation for the arts to its Bangkok property, the Sofitel So Bangkok, with a month-long photo exhibition in October. Titled Urbanscapes, the exhibit highlights works by two particular artists: Laurent Dequick and his knack for capturing chaos in urban spaces and ‘Kit’ Kanachai Benarongkul, whose portraits center on the artistry of buildings influenced by his background in architecture.
“We are excited to be working with YellowKorner [for the exhibition], the leader in art photography with 80 galleries worldwide providing a platform for over 200 artists,” said Sofitel So Bangkok general manager Yves Mudry. “Together [the artists] reflect our Thai-French heritage, and their works capture the chaos and beauty of urban spaces, not unlike our beloved home city.”
Urbanscapes will be on display from October 1 to 31 at the hotel’s Street Lobby.
