Other benefits include daily à la carte breakfast at the breezy Rumari restaurant and 24-hour butler service.

Over in the Indonesian capital, the Short and Suite package at Raffles Jakarta guarantees a return airport limousine transfer; a 90-minute massage for two; buffet breakfast enjoyed at Arts Café or in the comfort of one’s room; and evening cocktails from 6–9 p.m., with a selection of hors d’oeuvres served tableside. An art tour of Raffles Jakarta and the Ciputra Artpreneur Gallery & Museum next door is also part of the deal.

Reserving a suite at least three days in advance means you’ll get savings of 30 percent on best available rates, on top of breakfast for two at Mirèio brasserie or the all-day restaurant Spectrum, as well as afternoon tea and evening cocktails at the Writers Bar.

The group’s Cambodian heritage hotels — Raffles Grand Hotel D’Angkor in Siem Reap and Phnom Penh’s Raffles Hotel Le Royal — have both been spruced up as of late, and the “Luxury Reborn, the New Raffles” offer is still available for booking.
