Thanks to a new partnership between Priority Pass and Thailand’s flag carrier, members of the Collinson Group program can now enjoy complimentary access to the domestic Royal Orchid lounge at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi airport, alongside those in Phuket and Chiang Mai. Regardless of their chosen airline, cabin class, or fare type, Priority Pass members who wish to relax or work prior to boarding their flights are eligible to spend 2.5 hours in any of the three premium lounges. Perks include free Wi-Fi as well as snacks and refreshments from the bar, although alcoholic drinks are not covered.
In a statement, Nattapong Pokairat, Thai Airways’ Managing Director for Ground Service, said Priority Pass members paying a visit to the Royal Orchid lounges would “experience authentic Thai food, a unique Thai ambience, and the charm of Thai hospitality.” He also suggested that travelers could enjoy the lounges with peace of mind as each facility strictly adheres to the airline’s 4 Cs: Confidence, Clean, Care, and Comfort.
Priority Pass is notable for its global reach; the program promises access to more than 1,300 lounges and airport experiences across nearly 150 countries. By using the Priority Pass app for iOS and Android, members can discover locations welcoming Priority Pass, check their visit entitlement, and use their physical or digital membership card to enter an airport lounge.
