The Clan Hotel Singapore Rolls Out Anniversary Package

Stays come with a five-course gourmet meal and a private porcelain decorating workshop for two.

It’s been a year since The Clan Hotel Singapore opened its doors in the Telok Ayer precinct, where Chinatown’s historic temples and shophouses meet the skyscrapers of the CBD. Run by Far East Hospitality, the sleek high-rise property has just launched a new stay experience to celebrate the occasion. Priced from S$740++ (US$542), The Clan Anniversary Package includes a two-night stay in a Master Series – Premier or Grand Premier room, daily breakfast for two, late checkout until 3 p.m., and several other benefits, not least two bottles of 庆 – The Celebratory Brew, a local craft beer from The 1925 Brewing Co. that’s steeped with premium-grade oolong tea leaves.

A highlight of the package is a five-course Anniversary Feast for two at the in-house QĪN Restaurant & Bar. Here, chef James Tay has prepared a cross-cultural dining experience that speaks to Singapore’s identity as a culinary melting pot. Guests will tuck into appetizers such as the hotel’s signature siphon mushroom tea and scallop with laksa bubbles and pineapple salsa, followed by mains of steamed pearl grouper in a creamy tom yum sauce and three kinds of lap cheong with pearl barley risotto. For dessert, expect a sticky date pudding infused with Thailand’s Phraya Rum and dressed in a decadent butterscotch sauce featuring gula apong (nipa palm sugar). The meal will be washed down with a selection of cold-pressed sparkling tea in flavors ranging from lychee to osmanthus with passionfruit.

Also included in the offer is an hourlong porcelain decorating workshop courtesy of Supermama, in which guests can customize their own plates with decal designs from the brand’s heritage series. The souvenirs will be ready for collection after a firing and preparation process that usually takes three to five working days.
