The December 15 debut of C Mauritius marks not only a new level of luxury for the east-coast beach enclave of Palmar, but also the birth of a new sister brand for Constance Hotels & Resorts, a Mauritius-based collection of sumptuous seaside properties scattered throughout the Indian Ocean.
Conceived as Constance’s “cool, younger sibling,” C Resorts will be places “where guests can regain the free spirit of their youth and let go of adult concerns,” says CEO Jean-Jacques Vallet.
And C Mauritius will set the pace. Apart from a trio of restaurants, three pools, a spa, and Prestige and Deluxe rooms done up by French designer Marc Hertrich, the all-inclusive resort will introduce 12 original guest experiences that will be rolled out across the brand as new properties open.
Dubbed “Cignatures,” they include DJ-led party nights called Sessions by the C, C Treks for guided sociable walks, and Cascade—a giant musical shower on the beach. Let the fun and games begin!
