In what is touted as the “most luxurious road trip on earth,” Land Rover and British luxury travel company Abercrombie & Kent are teaming up to put together a 21-day itinerary of unrivaled indulgence in a road trip that covers five continents, eight countries, and nine luxury hotels to mark the launch of the Range Rover SVAutobiography.
The program comes with a hefty price tag of US$140,000, but participants are guaranteed a full three weeks of exquisite bespoke experiences across some of the world’s most beautiful landscapes, with activities that include a personalized fragrance making class in the lavender-scented hills of Provenance, a private sunset cruise, and a helicopter-enabled picnic on a glacier on the Alps. The trip will start in Europe and end in Tasmania, Australia, and includes pit stops at some of the world’s finest hotel and resorts like the Four Seasons Cap Ferratin Côte d’Azur in Portofino, Villa D’Este on Lake Como, Kasbah Tamadot, Amangiri resort in the Utah desert, and Safire Freycinet in Tasmania.
“We set out to design a trip worthy of the ultimate luxury SUV and thanks to our partners at Abercrombie & Kent we have achieved just that,” Mark Cameron, Land Rover experiential marketing director, says. “From Europe to Australia, this trip is all about the epitome of luxury but done so in a Land Rover way—the unexpected, the off-the-beaten-track, the once-in-a-lifetime experience. This itinerary represents the definitive drive adventure, achieved in the definitive vehicle.”
