There’s now a concrete date for one of Southeast Asia’s most highly anticipated hotel openings of the year. The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon is finally welcoming guests on July 29 with a new “Bite into Bangkok” stay package. Valid through September, the deal comes with up to THB 5,000 (about US$138) in hotel and dining credits per day, depending on the room category booked.
Housed inside the King Power Mahanakhon skyscraper, the 155-room property offers accommodation ranging from 40-square-meter standard rooms to a 144 square-meter Penthouse. Travelers can also look forward to a terrace pool, The Standard Gym, and an exciting culinary lineup to boot. Aside from Ojo for contemporary Mexican cuisine and the rooftop alfresco bar Sky Beach, there’s New York brasserie The Standard Grill and an outpost of acclaimed Cantonese restaurant Mott 32. Through the Bite into Bangkok offer, guests can use their credits as they please: on room upgrades, personal training sessions, in-room dining, or experiences at any of the hotel’s restaurants and bars.
Rates start from THB 6,995++ (US$194) per night and includes accommodation for up to two guests, early check-in from 12 p.m. and late checkout till 4 p.m., plus daily hotel credit of THB 3,000 (US$83) for stays in Standard King, Deluxe, or Corner rooms. The bonus credit goes up to THB 5,000 per day for those who book a suite or the Penthouse.
The opening offer can be booked between July 11 and September 30, 2022 for stays between July 29 and the end of September. Dining credits can be used on food, beverages, and wine on à la carte menus; reservations should be made directly on book.standardhotels.com.
