Joel Madden, Taboo, as well as Boyzlife’s Brian McFadden and Keith Duffy to headline the 10th Anniversary of The Podium Lounge Singapore.
What’s better than fast cars, nonstop thrills, and high-octane entertainment? The after-parties, of course.
We’re talking about The Podium Lounge — the largest and most glamorous after-party of the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix, which will be held from September 14-16.
This year, the trackside after-party will be celebrating its tenth consecutive year at The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore, bringing with it headliners such as Joel Madden, Taboo, and Boyzlife’s Brian McFadden and Keith Duffy.
Hosted by ex-Formula 1 Driver and TV Celebrity Alex Yoong, and E! News Asia’s Yvette King from 10p.m. until late, The Podium Lounge looks set to enthral guests with three memorable nights of world-class entertainment.
The opening night of September 14 kicks off with performances by the leading vocalists from much-loved boy bands Boyzone (who just announced their split after 25 years) and Westlife. Keith Duffy and Brian McFadden will be joining forces to perform the greatest hits from their bands’ back catalogues, ensuring plenty of nostalgia for fans.
Expect to sing along to classics like “No Matter What”, “Love Me for a Reason”, “You Raise Me Up” and “Flying Without Wings”.
Other highlights include performances by special guest celebrity DJ Joel Madden from American rock band Good Charlotte (also husband of Nicole Richie) on Saturday, September 15.
Come race night on Sunday, September 16, musical sensation Taboo of Grammy Award-winning The Black Eyed Peas will be taking the stage. Guests can expect to rock out to rap and R&B all night long by the talented performer.
Adding to the excitement of the Singapore Grand Prix weekend, the nightly Fashion Circuit will also take place on The Podium Lounge’s iconic catwalk. Catch international models and celebrities strut their stuff with hip-hop inspired streetwear line EGO by Strawn Teague Holmes, as well as COSMIC 108 — designed by legendary guitar photographer Lisa S. Johnson.
Other fringe activities include an exhibition by British contemporary artist Lincoln Townley who is known for his expressive figurative paintings, as well as live performances by world-famous speed painter Armin Flossdorf of F1 Arts.
And that’s not all — private diamond dealer Infiniti Jewels will be adding a sparkle to the weekend with a dizzying showcase of diamonds. The centrepiece is a S$3.34 million 40-carat Fancy Intense Yellow Diamond, one of the finest and rarest pieces in the world today.
