Quality sleep is precious commodity, especially when you’re a busy urbanite or a frequent traveler. That’s why ESPA at Resorts World Sentosa in Singapore has launched a new Sleep Ritual treatment (US$203), designed to rejuvenate guests as they spend some time in a quest oasis of relaxation. Created to commemorate the spa’s seventh anniversary, the 90-minute treatment aims to promote restful sleep that’s essential to one’s well-being.

My sleep ritual began with a body oil of choice.

Lush and tranquil, the 10,000-square-meter ESPA puts one at ease immediately—from the attentive service to the cozy treatment rooms. My sleep ritual began with a body oil of choice—it smelled of sandalwood and frankincense, followed by breathing and visualization exercises guided by a therapist. Guided by her soothing voice, I started to drift off to sleep as my breath deepened with every inhale and exhale. Soon after, she started to work on my tense muscles with a body massage, paired with hot stones and warm oils. This was followed by a scalp massage, which helped to ease a mild headache I was having.

At the end of my treatment, I was brought to the spa’s sleep zone, where sleep pods with built-in music and soothing lights lulled me into another half-hour long slumber.

While the sleep ritual alone was satisfying, guests looking for extra pampering can also check out the spa’s many facilities, including the, Outdoor Vitality Pool, Cold Plunge Pools, and the beautiful Forest Onsen-style pools.
