Indonesia’s Island of the Gods will soon be home to the Kimpton brand’s second outpost in Southeast Asia, after the high-rise Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok, and its fourth hotel in the wider Asian region. This upcoming property by IHG Hotels & Resorts is located in Nusa Dua, a 20-minute drive from Ngurah Rai Airport, and its opening date has been scheduled for July 1, 2021. Travelers can expect to see just 50 villas, a handful of dining and drinking venues, and the Samskara spa, where the treatment menu will incorporate Balinese healing practices and the resort’s Resident Guru will be available for private consultations.

Holidaymakers planning to stay at Kimpton Naranta Bali will have five villa categories to choose from. The entry-level Garden villas are a roomy 115 square meters each, while pool villas (across three categories) will have between 150 and 160 square meters of indoor and outdoor living space. In addition, a pair of Two-Bedroom Pool Residences will measure in at an impressive 375 square meters. All villas except the three Garden villas feature an outdoor bale (pavilion) and private saltwater pool.

Five restaurants and bars are set to grace the soon-to-open resort. All-day dining venue Maya’s Pantry will be open for breakfast from 6 a.m. onward, while daytime destinations include Pool Bar & Cabanas and the casual Nilam Beach Club nearby, which serves tapas and cocktails on the cream-colored sands of Geger Beach until sunset. Those who want to socialize and enjoy drinks after dark can head to Gong Bar (open daily from 5 p.m. to midnight) and Aki & Jack’s (open from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., closed Mondays and Thursdays).

Lifestyle programming — part of Kimpton’s DNA — delivers memorable experiences; starting with a morning kickstart coffee and tea, to yoga lessons with breathtaking views and Kimpton’s Social Hour, where the brand’s vision to enable human connections comes to life as guests mingle with locals with complimentary wines in the evening.
